Tsukiji - Japanese Fish Market

Tsukiji.

Welcome to one of the biggest fish market in Tokyo!

I always wanted to go here since it really has that busy asian feel with 

the tight space with lots of people. 

I think this may be one of the most popular tourist place in Tokyo.

The area is just so exciting with small food places that offers good quality and stores that specialize in cooking utensils.

This is the fish area. People go on these carts to move food from one place to another.

Look at all these fresh seafood!

I went at around 11am which is past the peak time.

I am writing about June 30, 2012 on March 20, 2013.

Let's be honest job hunting sucks in Japan.

You have to go to like 5 different interviews, you have to do job hunting before you graduate from university, you have to do web tests, you have to do group interviews... etc.

It's just a not very exciting process.

Watch this very cool animation on Japanese job hunting.

But I wanted to experience what it was like a little bit so I decided to go to Tokyo Career Forum.

There are many booths for interviewing on the spot.

And there are many company booths where they explain their company motto etc.

I actually enjoyed this part of job hunting.

I didn't take any more pictures because I was actually seriously looking at companies and deciding what I wanted to do with my life. Being a designer is always what I wanted to do but looking into other profession was a good break and something new.

They had a flower expo on the side.

I wanted to go in it haha.

MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART TOKYO

YEA! I visited the museum of contemporary art TOKYO with my friend :)

One of my plans when I was staying there was to visit as many museums as I can.

Its near kiyosumi shirakawa station.

Cool architecture.

Only $5 to get in for students!

Very spacious and cool (literally) inside.

Cool art before we actually go in the museum.

There also seems to be a library downstairs.

It was the time of season to start looking for the 2nd years who will like to come into our zemi in 2013/2014. So we had another information session for them!

We then went to another restaurant called the "hub" where is the only place we can drink beer from other countries.

Laughed at my friends USB that only holds 32mb.

Went for dinner at a place called "Tsuakada Noujou" in Tamachi.

The "otoushi"which is raw veggies with miso paste!

Avocado salad.

Game on the internet to win points so our bill becomes cheaper.
