One busy day : Arashi concert -> Geisha Performance

Sosososos I finallly got to go see Arashi.
For those of you who do not know, I am a huge Arashi fan.... :)
But since I live in Canada I've never got to see them before.
And because they are like One Direction of Japan it is very very hard to get tickets from their popularity.
I am actually in their fan club but I couldn't get their first concert tickets and actually tickets for this performance as well.

But my friend's friend's friend generously offered me her tickets and my dream has come true.

After buying some arashi goods (You usually line up for several hours) we went inside the hotel and wait until the event started.

All seats were full.

Look at the amount of people!!

So I got to go in and I actually got to seat more in the front.
This event wasn't an actual concert but nonetheless I got to see them live in action and talking.
I teared up at first (yes I know this is weird) and I couldn't believe that I actually got to see them.

-------

And then right after the concert.
I ran to Asakusa. I literally ran through the crowds to head to my Geisha Class.

This was our last lesson for the class where we got to se the Geisha performances in real life.
In reality you would have to pay hundreds to see this but since we were enrolled in that class we got to see it for around $40.

This was my table. But they already finished eating by the time I reached there!

Everyone in my class is excited to see the performances.

This was a comedy performance done by a male geisha.

We got to individually talk to the geishas and ask them many questions!

We also got to play drinking games with them.

This was fun!

A traditional seat.

This is another type of game.

At the end they bowed to us.

And we drank until all the liquor was gone... :)

Musical: Aida

June 12, 2012

I went to go see Aida with all the girls in my seminar group.

Aida is...
Aida (pronounced [aˈiːda]), sometimes spelled Aïda, is an opera in four acts by Giuseppe Verdi to an Italian libretto by Antonio Ghislanzoni, based on a scenario often attributed to French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette, although Verdi biographer Mary Jane Phillips-Matz has argued that the scenario was actually written by Temistocle Solera.[1] Aida was first performed at the Khedivial Opera House in Cairo on 24 December 1871, conducted by Giovanni Bottesini. (Source: Wiki)

Long story short its a love story and we went to go see a famous musical adaptation of it by Gekidan Shiki.

Strong strong wind and rain.

If this was in Canada people will probably fold their umbrellas and run through the streets haha.

They also do lion king!

Ramen, School and Clubbing

This is my favourite favourite Ramen store in Hiyoshi.
It is called Musashiya.
There are lots of ramen stores in toronto now but I bet none of these beats this one :)
The soup is pork based and its thick and so tasty.
And you get to eat as much rice as you want!
And its like 5 min from my house :D

------

I went to the Hiyoshi Campus to go meet my teacher.

Cool architecture no?

Cool building map no?

So my marketing group and my teacher went out for a little drink after the school meet up.

My favourite potato salad.
