Karaoke Snack

I had some dinner at a Chinese restaurant with few friends.

Chinese food in Japan is extremely expensive for some reason and its usually not very authentic at all. However this Chinese restaurant we go to in shinbashi is very good.

I really like this chinese liquor.

Then my friends took me to a place I would have never gone if I was by myself.

The place is called a Karaoke Snack and what you do at the place is

Drink

and 

Sing Karaoke.

The place is called Veroncho and its located in Ginza.

The song you sing can be heard by anyone who is in the small room.

A lot of people actually stand up and sing.

Art Museum and Thrifting

Somewhere in the end of april I visited the National Art Museum with my art class.

It's near the imperial palace.

They had a Jackson Pollock exhibition as well.

Only costs 130yen to get in. Maybe $2.

The interesting about this museum is that you need this special sticker on your arm to be allowed and take pictures.

Dumpling Party

My friend has been planning these parties in the past few months where we pick a dish that is made out of flour and have a party with it.

This time we chose "Dumplings"

We went to the closest super market and a chinese super market and bought some ingredients.

We had a chinese friend that day to help us out with the food.

Salt pot.

Meat.

Green onions and leek. 

We cut the boiled water cabbage to the max.

Making our own wrapper as well.

Also decided to make some "Namerou"

Put all the ingredients together.

Yum yummm yum :)

This is tuna sashimi.
