A little fancy way to spend a day in Ginza.

I had a nice afternoon tea and lunch with my friend and my friends mom in the Ginza/Yuurakuchou area.

We first met up at the Imperial Hotel.

Some people were having a wedding.

We went inside a Japanese restaurant within the hotel.

I ordered..

Eel! I love grilled eel on rice. This is called an "Una-Ju" in Japanese.

Look what I found in the restroom! A board for people who want to change in the stalls. Useless? I think so.

We then walked around the area.

We then decided to visit the Johannes Vermeer exhibition.
This is the ipod we were given to walk around and listen to inside the museum.

Beautiful.

Many people were there to see.

There was a section where you got to experience the same setting as one of the pictures.

This is world's biggest uniqlo.

Just too many too many people.

We then had some tea and cake.
This cake I had as around $120.... I had a slice of it. Very delicious.

This is the $20 cake.

My friend's mom also bought me some dessert to take back home.
Blueberry Pie!

  1. I've never seen a pull down changing board. That's so hilarious!!

Why was that cake so expensive? Did they put some special ingredients in it?

    1. I actually started to see a lot of these pull down boards after writing this blog.

I think the cake was expensive because of the liquor and fruits.
It was really good though but i do think its tad too expensive.
